Dr. Craig F. LaForce is board certified in Allergy/Immunology and Pediatrics. He received his Bachelor of Science in Astronomy at Northwestern University before completing a Masters degree at the University of Florida in Astrophysics. He attended Jefferson Medical College and completed residency training in pediatrics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He completed a post-doctoral fellowship in allergy and immunology at the National Jewish Hospital in Denver, Colorado, before assuming the directorship of pediatric allergy at the University of North Carolina from 1980 to 1992. He continues as Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at UNC and serves as director of research at North Carolina Clinical Research.


Dr. Karen D. Dunn is board certified in Allergy/Immunology and Pediatrics. She received her undergraduate degree from Vassar College and her medical training at New York Medical College. She attended St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia for her residency in pediatrics and her post-doctoral fellowship in allergy and immunology was completed at UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Dunn served as the co-director of the Cystic Fibrosis Center at UCLA prior to entering private practice at Carolina Allergy & Asthma. Dr. Dunn is also an active clinical researcher who serves as co-director at North Carolina Clinical Research.
Dr. Alan L. Aarons is board certified in Allergy/Immunology and Internal Medicine. He attended George Washington University as an undergraduate and received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a post-doctoral fellowship in allergy/immunology at the National Jewish Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
Dr. Vincent L. Firrincieli is board certified in Allergy/Immunology and Internal Medicine. He attended Florida State University where he graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. degree in Accounting, and practiced as a CPA for several years before entering medical school. Dr. Firrincieli attended the University of South Florida College of Medicine where he received the Academic Excellence Award. He completed both his residency in Internal Medicine and his post-doctoral fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the University of Virginia. He is a reserve officer in the U.S. Air Force.
